Criminal Attorney Oceanside California
Advocating for Clients' Rights since 1998
Few legal victories provide more immediate benefits to people facing criminal charges than the successful suppression of evidence. It doesn't matter how strong the evidence is. If it was obtained illegally, it cannot be used. If the prosecution's case is weakened sufficiently by this, a dismissal of the entire case could result.
If you face criminal charges, contact The Law Offices of Kerry L. Armstrong, APLC. We have successfully argued for the suppression of evidence in numerous cases, based on reasons that include:
- Police error
- Invalid search warrants/improper searches
- False statements by witnesses/informant reliability
- Staleness (staleness occurs when police act on old information)
- Lack of reasonable cause

Recent Suppression of Evidence Case
A recent case illustrates our firm's effectiveness in protecting clients' rights by arguing for the suppression of evidence. Our client had pulled over in an alley to work on his computer following a visit to a storage facility. A police officer approached our client's truck and wrote in his report that he saw "part of meth pipe."
We conducted a detailed reconstruction of the scenario and concluded that:
- The pipe was wrapped in a cloth which would have prevented the police officer from seeing it.
- The pipe was tucked away, which would also have prevented the police officer from seeing it.
